Kazha is a rock band founded by Japanese singer-songwriter Kazuha Oda (Kazha) and guitarist Hideki Matsushige in 2009. Kazuha is a classically trained singer who has worked in various genres of music from Classic to Heavy Metal. Her work has appeared on the iTunes Top 100 charts of numerous countries for a significant amount of time.
In 2011, they obtained their first nonimmigrant US Visa and toured more than 35 states within the first 2 years. Since then, they have been performing at numerous Anime and Comic Conventions and Festivals around the world. Kazha was originally a 4 piece band, but in 2014, it became only 3 piece, with Kazuha on both bass and vocal. Around 2015, they moved their base of operations to Memphis, Tennessee. They have shared the stage with national artists such as George Lynch, LA Guns, Y&T, Trapt, Adelitas Way, and King's X.
Kazha is from Japan but tours nationally in the USA as Official Ambassadors of “Music Export Memphis”, representing the birthplace of Rock’n’Roll - Memphis, Tennessee.
